Ruler Work Quilting (Clamshell Template)
Our customers are loving the ruler work classes - in this particular course, you will use the clamshell, 6" spiral, spinning wheel 36", 12" arc and Westalee cross hair square templates to quilt on your home sewing machine. If you have never taken a ruler work class, please plan to take the basics course first. Sew Steady table, ruler foot and templates required - call or come by the shop at least 2 weeks before class to purchase your supplies for this class! $15 if kit is purchases at Fran's - $25 otherwise.

50 wt thread, one or two shades darker than your top
bobbin with same thread
Slider sheet
Sewing machine capable of doing free motion quilting
Clam shell template, 6" spiral template, spinning wheel 36 template, 12" arc template
Westalee cross hair square ruler
Quilt Sandwich- this can be muslin on front and back with the following squares or rectangles drawn and sewn on the quilt sandwich leaving 1/4" between the blocks. Sew on the lines of the blocks.
Block sizes needed:
(2) 6 x 6" squares
(1) 10 x 10" square
(1) 12 x 12" square
(2) 6 x 17.5" rectangles
(2) 8 x 8" squares
(1) 5x 7" rectangle
(1) 12 x 3" rectangle
If you need a ruler foot or template, they need to be ordered 2 weeks before class
If you cut the shapes apart have at least an extra inch around all shapes
